The only words that need to be spoken today are “Thank You,” to the men and women who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces and to all the veterans, both living and those who have passed. We shall never forget…
These two photos are from Remembrance Days past when Emily was a Girl Guide. This year is the first year she will not be marching, but it doesn’t matter if you march, go to a service or pray. Just remember and give thanks…

Every time I read things like this tears well up in my eyes, so many gave so much to secure our freedom and still do today. We will never forget our brave forces of time gone by nor those of today.
We attended a local ceremony…..always do!
It’s nice to know that Canada honors their Veterans too!
Most definitely.
I made my own wreath this year.
Our girls laid wreaths as well with the Brownies and Guides. Great way for them to begin to understand and never forget.
Never must we forget that others have laided down their lives so we may have freedom.
Veterans should be remembered everyday, they gave us our freedom!
Just a little girl here and now a young woman, where do the years go!!!
