Halloween is now past for this year, but in honour of Wordless Wednesday I thought I would share a couple of photos from that day. This year my daughter Emily decided to be a super heroine, modeled after a much loved band member and the character he was in a video for one of the band’s songs. Emily’s little posse of friends were supposed to also wear similar costumes, but they bailed on her. Despite feeling like she stood out in a not so good way, Emily wore her costume to school and to trick or treat in. I was so proud of her for not caring what other people may say or think and I do believe she rocked her super heroine costume better than Wonder Woman herself!
A big shout of thanks to Emily’s grandma for making the beautiful cape and breast plate of this costume!!
Did you dress up for Halloween? If so, what was your costume?

That looks awesome! I’m sure it was hard to go anyway, but she sounds like a young woman of character.

Love the costume !!
Great costume, and good on her for dressing up! My boy’s days of participating in Halloween are way over…..but he did take his baby sister to a ton of houses before bailing on us, so that was great!
I think Emily did a great job of sporting that costume. Her Grandma Rudge did a wonderful job of the cape and breast plate.
Good for you Emily.

Have you decided on this year’s costume yet?
It won’e belong before i will have the sewing machine out making costumes for the kids!
