I am veering off the typical Wordless Wednesday path this week. Instead of a happy, fun loving photo from collection of Disney magic I wanted to share a photo of a fighter, a true brave soul. This photo, although not the best quality, is a photo of my daughter Emily. Yesterday we celebrated International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day by wearing teal. I wore teal for my beautiful eleven year old daughter who is much too young to be fighting this disease, but she is doing so with grace and style. I love you Emily bum. <3

Oh I had no idea that she had this. So so sorry to read that. I am glad you posted and I can only imagine how much this impacts her life. I hadn’t even heard of the condition until now.
MapleMouseMama says
Thank you Paula…the impact is bearable some days and others, not so much.. Awareness will bring about a cure one day!

Your daughter truly is a brave soul. Yesterday I read your post about your daughter’s diagnosis and I cried. I can’t even imagine being 11 and dealing with something like this. She is amazing.
