This week marks the beginning of June and to celebrate that the theme for this week’s Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop is “June Calendar Shot“. As I have not been to Disney in June ( and lord help me I L♥VE Disney World, but the summer months would cause me to wilt away and none to quietly either 🙂 ) this topic was open to my interpretation. I hope you like it 😉
After you have had a look around, ooed and awed at my artistic abilities and left your mark via a comment 😉 head on over to Focused on the Magic by clicking on the link below. Deb is once again hosting us and it would be awesome if you could check out her June Calendar Shot. I promise you it is gorgeous! Take a few minutes and see what everyone else is up to as well. Thank you ♥♥

Haha what a clever interpretation of June! I don’t go to WDW in the summer either. Crowds and heat? no thanks!
MapleMouseMama says
Thanks Vanessa 🙂 Ya, the heat and I do not mix well at all 🙁

When I saw the first shot of Emily with the veil, I was momentarily confused. I thought, “No Suzanne was never at Disney as a child!” But…..but….then I realized it was Emily and yes, your daughter does look a lot like you! Some pictures the resemblance is more pronounced than others! 🙂 And I hope it will be many many years before that Disney wedding takes place for Emily! LOL
MapleMouseMama says
LOL Gem, I can see what you mean for this photo especially. And I agree on the wedding thing not being for a long time yet. Time enough to get her degree and start on her first million!
Love you guys,
Suz ♥
Mouse Fan Diane says
Suz, I love the pics and i agree I would have loved to have gotten married there. Love the veggies pic, miss that place 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
Thanks Diane, I appreciate that. I can recall my first trip to DW in 1995 and I witnessed a wedding going on at Fort Wilderness. I swore on the spot ( much to my then boyfriends dismay) that I was getting married at DW! It never did work out, but there is always hope for a vow renewal, LOL 🙂

Great selection and beautiful shots, Suz! It’s been a long time since I’ve gone to the Disney parks in June too. Love the brides and the flowers in bloom.
MapleMouseMama says
Thank you Mary, I appreciate it 🙂 I would love to go in the summer, but between the heat and the crowds well, I would rather stick to my winter vacations 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Lucinda says
I love your interpretation!
You don’t just avoid the wilty heat here in summers…you miss out on the hurricanes, tornadoes and torrential rains. Little bit wet here today. 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
LOL, thanks Lucinda, yeah those weather issues are a good reason to steer clear. But Florida weather is certainly a conundrum. We had a trip in December that saw rain everyday, not just the little showers. Another December trip was heat wave central and then a January trip had us in gloves, hats and scarves! I do prefer when it is cooler though 🙂
Stay dry, Suz ♥
Jodi Whisenhunt / Magical Mouse Schoolhouse says
I think you captured the essence of both June and Disney very well! Btw, love that tie dye shirt! Is it from One Great Thing?
MapleMouseMama says
Thank you Jodi 🙂 Wow, you are spot on! I just checked my Etsy account and yes, they were from One Great Thing. How did you know?! These were bought almost four years ago!! Have you made purchases from them. We still wear those shirts ( well mine anyway, LOL). Thanks for stopping by Jodi 🙂
