It might be the middle of the week, but it is always a good time to have Marinated Chicken Wings on the menu. 🙂 My husband could literally live on chicken wings and chicken wings alone. Well that and a glass of milk. Yup, milk. And this recipe for baked chicken wings sound a lot better for him them the kind you get at a local bar. Just like all of Kathy’s recipes, you are going to love this one too.
Marinated Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs of fresh chicken wings
- 1/4 cup of low salt soya sauce
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup of lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
Directions
1) Combine all of the ingredients together in a large glass dish.
2) Add the chicken wings to the dish and toss until they are well coated with the mixture.
3) Cover your dish with tinfoil and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 4 hours.
4) Bake in the oven at 375ºF for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Uncover for the last 15 minutes.
5) Serve with your favourite sides and enjoy!
We have tried these and they are a hit on the home-front! Let us know if you make them for your family and what everyone thinks. You could change it up a bit by adding in different flavours or spices as well. Don’t forget to check out all of our other yummy recipes!
Do you think chicken wings are a bar food, only to be consumed with beer or should we make them a go-to easy dish for home chefs everywhere? 🙂

delish, Suzanne! Merci!
FLOJEAN says
Yes, Suzanne these sound pretty good, but I will take the skin off the chicken drumsticks before cooking. I think wings and or drumsticks could and should be made at home for ” anytime”
