Are your kiddos tired of Popsicles yet? Get them to help you make this recipe for Cinnamon Toast Crunchies and chase away the summer snack blues. With just a few ingredients, this tasty treat is easy to make and your children will be happy having a hand in creating it. From the kitchen of our dear contributor Kathy, Cinnamon Toast Crunchies will become a family favourite in no time. 
Cinnamon Toast Crunchies
Ingredients:
- 5 Cups of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
- 5 Cups of miniature marshmallows (set 1 cup aside)
- 1/3 Cup of butter or margarine
- 1 Cup of chocolate chips
Directions:
- Grease a large bowl and spoon first.
- Pour the 5 cups of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal into a large (greased) mixing bowl.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Next add the chocolate chips to the pan, continuously stirring until they have melted completely.
- Now add 4 of the cups of marshmallows. When these have melted pour them over the cereal and mix thoroughly.
- Next, mix in the remaining (one) cup of marshmallows.
- Press the mixture into a well-greased 8×8 pan and put in the fridge to chill for at least an hour. If you need to use your hands to press the mixture down, be sure to butter them first (your hands, that is. )
Enjoy these delightful, sticky Cinnamon Toast Crunchies! You might want to buy double the required ingredients because I guarantee these treats will not last long.
